As if by magic, one day there was no sight of tulips, the next, this batch was up and blooming. They look so fabulous next to the hyacinths and daffodils. This is the first time I've seen this combination as last year they didn't all bloom together.
While daffodils are my favorite flowers, tulips are a close second. They come in so many colors (including pink!) and are such a cheerful addition to the garden.

Plants do seem to be lasting longer this year, perhaps its the cooler weather we are having.Primroses and cowslips are flowering together here, not something they normaly do.
ReplyDeleteDelightful combination. I sure wish we could grow tulips in So California, but I'm sure we grow something everyone wishes they could grow. That's what keeps it interesting.
ReplyDeletePretty! Mine are all in bloom too! I should go take some pics. Now that it's nice out, we need to meet up for a patio drink or even a backyard cocktail. :)
ReplyDeleteSo nice to look at! I like your particular varietal's petals!
